Spring may be mere weeks away but the current cold snap (and so-called ‘Beast From the East’) has us gripped firmly in the throes of winter, taking with it all hopes of warmer weather. Thankfully, H&M’s latest collection from its Studio line captures the spirit of summer dressing, evoking fond memories of sunnier climes.
Inspired by the minimalist design culture of Japan, this collection is all about clean lines and free-flowing silhouettes rendered in vivid colours and abstract print i.e. the quintessential summer wardrobe. Taking a relaxed approach to tailoring, the collection also features some key pieces for spring such as the beige cape and the high-necked blouse and belted black trench coat which blend seamlessly into workwear.
Debuting this evening at the iconic Musée des Arts Décoratifs as part of Paris Fashion Week, H&M is following the ‘see now, buy now’ format so you won’t have long to wait to get your hands on this collection; it will be available to purchase online directly after the runway presentation finishes which you can watch live at 9 pm tonight on H&M’s Instagram account. Make sure to check back here afterwards to shop our must-have edit of the collection below before it sells out.
