Another day, another collaboration. This time it’s pop superstar Rihanna who has teamed up with luxury fashion brand Dior and it’s all about the sunglasses. Kicking off the summer season with some serious shades, the collection will humbly be titled ‘Rihanna’ after herself (of course).

Inspired by Star Trek’s La Forge, the one-style sunnies come in a variety of different colours including pink, blue, green, red and metallic. Their architectural shape and robotic style may seem like something only the Terminator could adorn but something tells us these specs will be sold out before you know it- just like all of Rihanna’s previous collaboration pieces. After already being spotted wearing a pair, the Work singer posted a photo on Instagram with the caption “When you reppin da PHUCK out yo own shit!” which basically translates to her promoting her new collection… We think.

Although they have collaborated before in 2015 when Rihanna was the first black woman to be the face of a Dior campaign, this will be Rihanna’s first design venture with the brand and also the first time an ambassador will get the chance to design a collection. “The process was pretty seamless,” said the singer, “I literally sat there and drew and drew until I was happy with the design… We picked materials and colours that same day, and after that it was a matter of weeks before I saw the first prototype.” “We are very pleased to partner for the second time with Rihanna,” said Dior chief executive officer Sidney Toledano. “She is an artist, an entertainer, an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, and a style icon for today’s generation.”

While there is no official campaign to promote the futuristic specs, Jean-Baptiste Mondino shot Rihanna modelling the sunglasses for a series of editorial images. And if Rihanna has proved anything in the past, it is that her “shit” will sell.

The sunglasses will be sold exclusively in Dior stores beginning in early June. Prices will range from $840 for the silver, pink, blue, green and red styles and the very deluxe and very Rihanna style of 24-karat gold-plated version will sell for $1,950.
