Marks & Spencer launched ‘Fashion Street’ earlier this week, its newest lingerie/loungewear collection which is just the right amount of edge and comfort that we have been looking for. The British fashion chain (who is on a bit of a roll at the moment) is launching an exclusive collection inspired by street fashion with a sway towards the ’90s era. With street style and blogs making as big an impact on fashion as the runway lately, no wonder M&S chose the streets as their muse!

The fashion-forward collection takes the gym-to-street trend to a whole other level. It’s sports luxe with the perfect mix of comfort and style.

Named after the store’s East London design studio, Fashion Street takes urban styling and makes it effortless. The minimal structured pieces give a more sophisticated take on the utilitarian trend. The chic monochrome looks come in bold patterns like directional stripes and geometric graphics.

The black and white patterns and cut-out effects will update your loungewear this spring by giving it a modern look.

Key pieces like the mesh lined bodies and the symmetrical striped crop pants compliment each other ideally. While the sheer fabric detailing adds a feminine touch to the collection.

With a combination of lingerie, sports, swimwear and even pyjamas, the athletic inspired duds have maximum flexibility to mix and match within your wardrobe. The evolution of loungewear and the ever blurring lines of innerwear as outerwear continue to close this season, with another knock out collection from Marks & Spencer who appear to be having a major fashion moment, first with Archive by Alexa, then Lil’ LonDunn, the urban kidswear range debuted by model Jordan Dunn last week, it appears the retail giant has many tricks up their sleeve with exciting unveils planned for us. Are we pleased? Yes we are. Do we want to see more? Hell yeah!
