To say that we are big fans of the beautifully timeless and minimal swedish label COS would be an understatement. Not only do we love it for breaking the mold of the high street by offering design led pieces at very affordable prices, but also for its truly avant garde approach to retail and branding. They are unapologetic in their approach to fine art in all forms from their inspiration for designs coming from landscapes, art and architecture. We love them because they know that sometimes some of their pieces might seem a bit ‘out there’ but this form of expressionism and individuality is celebrated and a breath of fresh air to the crop tops and bodycon styles that tend to dominate other retailer floors.
Their SS16 campaign imagery has just landed in our inbox in advance of the COS SS16 magazine which will be in-store and online at cosstores.com from March 4th, 2016 and this campaign is another reminder of this ethos and celebration of beauty – taking its inspiration from “the shifting forms of the natural landscape and elements.”
The collection is beautiful, simple and just that, very natural. Having previewed their new collection a few weeks ago, one thing was evident, this season is definitely more versatile, with easy to wear neutral tones mixed in with stand out denim pieces. As always expect striking architectural cuts and quality materials.
All be-COS the lady loves……
