Not since the Roman era have we seen so many gladiator styles on show, but the real scene stealers of the catwalk were the knee high version. Chloe, Valentino and Erdem used the knee high style to complement their hippie style mini dresses, that allowed the sandal to re-enforce the leg as this season’s erogenous zone of choice. Alexander McQueen’s collection showcased warrior versions of the sandal with cut-away elevated heels that completed his equally fierce collection in true McQueen style. Not for the faint-hearted but always inspiring.  Chloe very kindly gave us options, so if knee high is too high, then you can go for midi length or ankle length, and in a choice of buttery blush pink, browns and black, and even better in a choice of flats or baby wedges, illustrating that one style does not suit all.
