It’s become our go-to for affordable, trend-driven fashion on the high street but this season, & Other Stories is delving further into the world of beauty with a newly added hair care range. Inspired by the laidback, I woke up like this aesthetic of Los Angeles, the new collection features an extensive array of high-performing, minimal effort products for every hair type.
Developed by & Other Stories’ in-house team together with hairstylist to the A-list, Kylee Heath, the range is divided into three categories, each with its own unique fragrance; Fullness (limp and lifeless haired girls rejoice!), Restore and Universal. Speaking about the new additions, Head of Beauty Frida Fagerholm says, “Together with Kylee Heath, we drew much inspiration from life in LA and looked at what type of hair care that will transcend from a morning at the beach, via a day at work, to a night out. The range allows you to create the look you desire – hair with bounce, body, texture, undone curls, tousled waves, shine or smoothness. All with a well-balanced fragrance that will last throughout the day.”
For damaged hair in need of a bit of TLC, Restore is the range is for you. Ideal for everyday use, the range is formulated with hydrating vegetable keratin and hibiscus extract which fill out the hair fibres for a soft and well-nourished look. A blend of coconut, jojoba and avocado oils protect and repair damaged hair while delivering a smooth, conditioned high-shine result.
For fellow fine haired friends, turn your attention in the direction of the Fullness range which aims to create full-bodied, bouncy hair with a lightweight feel and touchable texture thanks to its select combination of ingredients chosen for their ability to achieve maximum volume, while simultaneously keep the hair moisturised without weighing it down.
Rounding off the new collection is the Universal range which does what it says on the tin; it is developed to suit all occasions and consists of products that cover every step from prep and priming to beachy waves and brilliant blowouts.
Not to be confined within the one category, the entire collection is made for mix and matching- simply pick products based on your desired look. For tips on how best to use each of the ranges, follow the hairstyling tutorials below created by & Other Stories in collaboration with Dutch stylist Nicole Huisman, French actress Joanne Palmaro, and Swedish journalist Amie Bramme Sey.
The & Other Stories hair care range will be available in-store and online at stories.com on August 16th 2018.
